A few weeks ago I made a post here talking about the new trends in jeans and one of the trends is jeans with asymmetrical hem! Needless to say, I loved the idea and found it super easy to make. Since it’s a super high trend, I think you’ll like the step-by-step. Let’s go?!
This is the pants for inspiration!!
You will need:
- 1 straight-cut jeans
- 1 scissors
- 1 seam ripper (in the photo is the green that is used to open the seams)
- 1 ruler
- 1 pen
Step One: Cut the hem of each leg right over the seam and then measure the height you want the longest part of the hem to be. Then turn the pants inside out and mark with the ruler the longest part (if you need to cut) and the shortest part of the hem – my pants already had the hem done, so I only needed to mark the front part, which is the shortest part of the bar.
Step Two: use the seam ripper to open the seams on the side of the pants to the height that was marked earlier.
Step Three: after cutting the hem, unravel the hem by pulling a few white lines that lie horizontally on the jeans – pull one at a time.
And your pants will be ready to wear! If you want to wash it in the machine before using it is good, because the shreds are more beautiful.
Hey girls, did you like the step-by-step? Super easy, right?! Who’s going to do it?
